As we all know now, I have been struggling with an adverse reaction to silicone on my face. This means I have had to replace my foundation along with almost everything else in my beauty cabinet. And lets be honest – I got to spend an hour in the beauty section of David Jones, so really thats the biggest win here. 

And I know you can see by the picture and name, this is about a golden oldy that EVERYONE has done a review on. But in the name of reviewing things I’m finding for the first time and getting to grips on this product thing, I’m giving Mac Face and Body a crack.

I went to a barre attack class on Monday night. I really like barre attack, I get to feel like the ballet dancer I never was. I can still dream about doing classes and coming out this elegant, graceful woman who moves like clouds transport her everywhere. 

Now barre attack is not ballet, and I know that. Its this high intensity, ballet / pilates mix that feels like the instructor is trying to murder you through dance.

I have been procrastinating on writing this for a couple of hours now, so I have pushed myself to start writing.

I know as soon as I have completed this chapter, I will feel so much better and accomplished than I will have procrastinating through online shopping (but FYI I do need new workout leggings ok!).

Last week I had a break from my screens at home. 

I ran instagram on autopilot, watched re-runs of Archer, and slept. 

I work in the corporate world, so I stare at screens all day, typing away, and it can be really difficult to come home at night and do it all over again.

I am a HUGE tea lover. I have been drinking it almost my whole life, and its a huge part of my family bonding process. 

You know you’ve made it in when you are offered a cup of tea. 

When I am with my family I can drink up to 8 cups of english breakfast tea a day. One before breakfast, one with breakfast, one for morning tea, one with lunch, one with afternoon tea, one before dinner and one after dinner, finishing the day with one before bed.

So.. I fell in a hole and had a huge panic attack last week, and really until today I have been sleeping or on autopilot.
